There's a mysterious land in the south east, a land of GIANT PEACHES, flat earth that dissapears past the horizon, and gorgeous little lakes. Maybe these things are sprinkled all across the southern half of the East Coast, but I know they at least exist between Charlotte and Greenville, SC, and here's the proof!
Big flat Carolina
Greenville, SC, is a cool little town on its own. While it seems that concrete, buildings, and a few high rises have spread out over ever inch, like any city, right through the heart of it you'll find an lively reminder of what once was; a little river that runs out under the S Main Street bridge, then pushes the city scape back on both sides to open the area up for a nice park and rocky waterfall.
Reedy River Falls Park in Greenville, SC
It's a great spot to walk around at night; a safe area, colored flood lights that wash up onto the supports of the canted bridge, and plenty of nearby bars and restaurants producing late-night foot traffic for some good people watching!
